Aspire to climb as high as you can dream
Aspire was established in 2007 by Joe Quinn to offer a range of services to teams and athletes in order to improve all aspects of their sporting performance. Joe identified the need for this venture after completing a Bsc in Sport and Exercise science at the University of Limerick and while he was still playing for the Offaly senior footballers. The combination of both of these allowed Joe to understand the needs of athletes and see how he could use this Science background for the benefit of all teams and individuals. Since then Aspire has gone from Strength to strength and have worked with teams from every county in the country and having success with many. Aspire has also helped countless individuals achieve their personal goals , whether this was to tone up, lose weight or to reach the Olympics as with Declan Slevin our hand cyclist.
Joe has played for the Offaly Senior footballers for 7 years and was captain of the Offaly u-21’s and Minors before this. He has All-Ireland titles in Athletics for the 400m Hurdles and the 4-100m relay and the 4 x 400m relay. He now combines his experience from football and athletics to deliver quality training programmes for teams and athletes of all sports
Patrice Delaney, current county camogie player for Offaly has been working at Aspire since 2016. Patrice has a very strong interest in sport from a player’s perspective, a coaching aspect and a commercial aspect. She is actively involved in camogie, golf and personal fitness.
Richie who hails from the West of Ireland has long had an interest in Sport and Fitness. Spending most of his youth involved in team sports such as soccer and GAA to a local level and individual sports like handball and kickboxing to a national level, when it came time to make his choice for a college course it was an obvious decision to go the sport science route.
